Cheesy Party Potatoes

I got this recipe from a mother of five with whom I stayed while traveling with a summer singing group. I gathered recipes all summer from people all along the East Coast and this was THE BEST ONE! This has such flavor and very cheesy! I remember she served this dish with chicken fingers, a side of vegetables and bread and everyone in our group loved it! Making enough for 8 servings, I usually cut this recipe in half and freeze part of it. It freezes very well! This will soon be a favorite among
