Cherry Almond Breakfast Bowl

A gluten free breakfast bowl packed with protein, healthy fat, and carbohydrates from fresh fruit! This is a quick recipe that will have your taste buds in heaven!

1 banana, mashed
1 large egg
2 egg whites (or 1/2 cup egg white substitute)
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp pure maple syrup
5 pitted and chopped sweet cherries
1 dollop almond butter (optional, but highly recommended!)
