Chewy Eggnog Cookies

These delicious cookies have the flavor of eggnog and melt in your mouth. People will be asking you for this recipe, it's that good.

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup eggnog

Frosting

1/2 cup butter, softened (I use unsalted)
3-5 Tbsp eggnog
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups powdered sugar
