Creamy, hearty & great to use up leftover rotisserie chicken or turkey from Thanksgiving.

4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
2 cups water
1/2 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed (I used a brown, red & wild rice blend with lentils)
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1 1/2 cups cubed or shredded cooked chicken ( I used rotisserie chicken )
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 cup half & half
8 slices bacon, crisply cooked & chopped
