Chicken Tarragon En Croute

found this recipe ages ago in some women's magazine. Pretty easy to make and easy to adapt to your tastes

2 T butter softened
1/2 t lemon juice
1/4 t tarragon
Garlic salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 package crescent rolls
2 3-4 ounce boneless skinned chicken breast pounded flat
flour
egg if desired
Mix first five ingredients in a bowl. Seperate crescent rolls and make two big rectangles. Seal Serrations. Coat chicken with flour. shake off excess. Place chicken on each crescent roll rectangle. Divide butter mix and spread on each chicken. Roll up jelly roll fashion and seal edges. Place seam side down and cut slit on top . Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on a cookie sheet. May use egg wash on top for shine if desired.
