Old family favorite, doesn't look so good but is very tasty. We laughingly call this dish "dog food" but there is never any left over no matter how much I make.

2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
1 cup rice uncooked
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cups beef stock
1 can each cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, cream of celery soup
1 cup milk
1 can crisp chow mien noodles
seasoned salt and black pepper to taste
optional 1 cup cheddar cheese
1 medium onion chopped
1 cup rice uncooked
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cups beef stock
1 can each cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, cream of celery soup
1 cup milk
1 can crisp chow mien noodles
seasoned salt and black pepper to taste
optional 1 cup cheddar cheese
cook rice in beef stock until tender, about 15 minutes. brown ground beef and onion together until brown and crumbly. drain of excess grease. In large bowl mix soups and milk together add in the meat mixture and rice if you are using the cheese add it now. pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish, top with chow mien noodles then cover with foil bake 350 for 40 minutes remove foil and back 15 minutes more
