Chocolate Dipped Homemade Pumpkin Poptarts

Pumpkin Poptarts made from home using whole wheat flour. And made a million times better by dipping them in chocolate.

For the Crust:
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup old fashioned oats, finely ground

4 teaspoons granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup cold butter (pop it in the freezer for half an hour for best results)

4-6 Tablespoons very cold water

1 egg, slightly beaten (for brushing on the dough)

For the filling:
3/4 cup pureed pumpkin

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 large egg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup granulated sugar

For the chocolate:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
