Chocolate Dipped Pumpkin Biscotti Recipe

Better than any treat you’ll get at your local coffee shop, this decadent and fall-inspired Pumpkin Biscotti will be a winner in your home. Make sure to make a cup of coffee or tea to go with it. They pair perfectly together!

4 tablespoons softened, unsalted butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
2 cups all purpose flour
coarse white sparkling sugar for topping
10 ounces dark chocolate chips
1-2 tablespoons heavy cream

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
