Copykat Corn Grits

My own version of Zea's grits.

1 ear corn
1/2 stick butter
2 cups half and half
2 cups water
1 cup yellow grits
sliced green onions for topping

Salt
Take husk off corn and soak in water for 20 mins. Rub olive oil on the ear and wrap in aluminum foil. Grill.
Cut corn off the cobb and set aside.
Bring water and half & half to a boil. Stir in grits and reduce to simmer. Stir repeatedly until thickened. Add butter and corn. Salt to taste. Top with chopped green onions.
