Country Apple Cake

Fall is just around the corner, which means loads of apple desserts! This Country Apple Cake will have you cherishing this wonderful time of year and the flavors that come with it!

2 large eggs ( beaten )
1 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. butter ( melted )
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 c. all purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. finely diced apples (I like Granny Smith), plus a spritz of fresh lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
