Cozy Rice pudding

A bowl of this curled up on the couch on a rainy day,or any day is comfort heaven.

2 evaporated milk
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup jasmine rice
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 tsp orange zest.grated
Place all ingredients in a heavy bottom ,medium size sauce pan.Simmer for 30-40 min stirring frequently . The rice will start to absorb the liquids and thicken.Rice should be tender not hard or mushy.
