Crockpot Filipino Chicken Adobo
165
A slow-cooker version of a traditional Filipino favorite.
6
2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups soy sauce
4 cups water
3-4 bay leaves, crumbled
2 teaspoons black peppercorns (whole)
5 cloves garlic
3 cinnamon sticks
3-4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
**Note: You can use any kind of chicken with this recipe, but dark meat does work best. White meat tends to not absorb the sauce. You can use a whole, cut apart chicken (I just have a thing about bones!) or even pork, if that’s what you feel like!
