Cuban Street Tacos

These tacos are easy to make in a slow cooker and have a wonderful blend of flavors.

4 lb boneless pork roast
1 tablespoon salt
3-4 tablespoons oil
1 cup water
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
2 bay leaves
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeno, seeds removed and minced
1 onion, peeled and quartered
Juice of one lime
1 medium orange
1 tablespoon salt
3-4 tablespoons oil
1 cup water
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
2 bay leaves
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeno, seeds removed and minced
1 onion, peeled and quartered
Juice of one lime
1 medium orange
Rub the pork all over with salt. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Heat oil in a large pot and sear pork on all sides. Place the pork in the slow cooker.
