Cucumber and Orange Yogurt

Use cucumber and orange to make a desert scene and quench your thirst.

1 small cucumber
¼ cup orange flesh
1 tablespoon kefir yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
Cut the cucumber into two segments, then cut few pieces from the middle to make the segment shorter. Peel the cucumbe r (optional) to create alternating line patterns. Mix orange, yogurt and honey in a blender, pour into two small bowls. Put the cucumber tip-side up in the bowl and arrange small piece around it.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
