Decadent Chocolate Brownies

A delicious dessert that's sure to be a crowd pleaser! Crunchy edges with a soft, gooey middle

125g unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups caster sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius (340 Fahrenheit). Grease and line an 18 x 28cm tin (approx 7 x 11 inches) 2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan and stir in sugar, cocoa, vanilla and salt 3. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly 4. Quickly whisk in eggs 5. Sift flour and baking powder together in a medium bowl and fold into the chocolate mixture 6. Mix in dark chocolate chips 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes 8. Allow to cool completely before removing from tin
