DeDe's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

I usually don't care for sweet and sour meatballs because they tend to be either too sweet or too salty. These strike a perfect balance!

Meatballs:
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
1 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. sugar

Sauce:
1-20 oz. can pineapple chunks, juice drained and reserved
1/3 c. water
3 Tbl. vinegar
1 Tbl. soy sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 Tbl. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. ground giner
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
about 10 petite carrots sliced fine
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
pineapple cunks
Combine all meatball ingredients and form into balls and place in 9x13 baking pan. Drain pineapple into a glass measuring cup and add enough water to equal 1 cup. Add remaining sauce ingredients and stir. Pour over meatballs in pan and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
