I usually prefer to make dry side dishes with boneless chicken. I planned to make a fried rice for dinner and for the side dish I decided to try something that I haven't made before. A dish that I had long back in a Chinese restaurant came to my mind and as I was searching for an apt recipe for that dish, I happened to see the pic of Dragon Chicken from another blog. The dish in the pic looked very good, so I checked out the recipe. As I had most of the ingredients with me I decided to try

For marination

Boneless chicken - 400 gms - cut into thin long strips
Corn flour - 4 tbsp
Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Pepper - 1 tsp
Red chilli paste - 2 tsp
Egg - 1

For sauteing

Onion - 1 big - thinly sliced
Whole red chilli - 3
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Red chilli paste - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Almonds - 5 - 6 nos - chopped
Oil - for frying and sauteing
Marinate chicken with the mentioned ingredients for 1/2 hour. Fry them in hot oil till they turn golden brown. Heat oil in another pan, add the red chilli and almonds and fry till the almonds get roasted....
