Easy Chicken Tortilla Soup

My sister shared this recipe with me and it is so easy. Takes about 30 minutes to make and tastes delicious!

1 green bell pepper (chopped)
1/2 onion (chopped)
1/2 cup salsa
3 cooked chicken breasts (shredded or diced)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
4 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
Saute peppers and onions. Add all ingredients together in a large saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream, cheese, and tortilla chips.

ground black pepper ( to taste )
2 T chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
8 flour tortillas
1 c grated Monterey Jack cheese
