Easy, Homemade Sloppy Joes

You'll never have to buy a canned sloppy joe mix again! These sloppy joes are easy, fast, and delicious!

1 lb ground beef (or chicken or turkey)
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
bakery fresh buns
Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess oil. Add the remaining ingredients (except the buns, of course!) and stir to combine. Let the mixture come to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Add a splash or two of water if the mixture becomes too thick. Spoon the mixture onto buns and enjoy your sloppy joes!
