Frosted Brown Butter Banana Bars with a Graham Cracker Crust

Brown butter gives these banana bars a deep, caramelized flavor, enhancing the toasty graham cracker crust, the soft banana bar layer, and the sweet frosting.

For the crust:
7 ounces graham crackers (about 12 1/2 graham cracker sheets, or 3 cups store bought graham cracker crumbs)
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

2 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 large eggs
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup brown butter
For the frosting:
1/2 cup brown butter
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 to 4 tablespoons milk
