Glazed Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls

Everyone loves Cinnamon Rolls, but this recipe is a little healthier because I've added some whole wheat flour. They also have brown sugar, cinnamon and a vanilla glaze to make these Glazed Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls extra delicious!

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 cup milk

1/4 cup water

1 large egg, room temperature

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons yeast

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups whole wheat flour

2 cups unbleached or all-purpose flour

For the Filling:

1/4 cup butter, softened or melted

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

For the Glaze:

2 cups confectioners sugar

3 tablespoons cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2/3 cup chopped walnuts
