Gluten Free Caramel Popcorn

Finding GF snacks that taste good can be difficult. This GF recipe is one of my favorites! To make yours gluten-free, just be sure to use GF brands. The caramel remains soft, and honestly tastes better after it sits for a day or two.... the caramel and popcorn start to meld together, creating a creamy, gooey caramel! This makes a LARGE amount, so it's perfect for large gatherings - it would be a great party favor dolled up in individual bags with cute ribbon :)

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup butter, cubed

1 cup light Karo syrup

14 ounces (1 can) can sweetened condensed milk

13 cups (3 bags) microwaved popcorn, popped
Combine brown sugar, butter, Karo syrup, and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat until butter completely melts and the mixture begins to boil. Once caramel starts boiling, cook for approximately two minutes, stirring constantly. Pour hot caramel over popcorn immediately. Store in an air-tight container.
