Savory Grain-Free Bread Crumbs with a vegan option.

1 cup potato starch
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning (optional)
1/2 teaspoon guar gum (Bob's Red Mill)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups milk or plain milk substitute (almond milk, soy milk, etc.)
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon baking soda

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
