Grandma's Jubilee Jumbles

You just can't beat Grandma's cookies, right? These Jubilee Jumbles are the Christmas cookies of my childhood. They are light and cake-like, and the red and green icing on top is just divine. If you are a chocolate chip cookie fan, you are sure to love these delicious and festive treats. (Just ask my Grandpa, who is known to sneak "just one more" with the best of us.)

1/2 c Crisco
1 c Brown Sugar
1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Evaporated Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
2 3/4 c Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
6 oz Chocolate Chip

For Icing:

2 Tbs Butter
2 c Powdered Sugar
1/4 c Evaporated Milk
Food Coloring

For Cookies: In a large bowl, mix first four ingredients. Stir in milk and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet. Stir in chocolate chips. ...
