Grilled Chopped Salad

You're family will definitely eat all of their veggies if you make them this Grilled Chopped Salad. Everything tastes great on the grill and this salad is no exception!

3 slices bacon, diced
1 package of romaine hearts (3 count), cut in half lengthwise
1 red bell pepper, cut into quarters lengthwise
1/2 red onion, sliced
1 roma tomato, diced
1/4 cup olive oil plus 2 tbsp, divided
1 small clove garlic, grated or very finely chopped
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
1 package of romaine hearts (3 count), cut in half lengthwise

Preheat grill to medium high heat.
Cook bacon in a small saute pan until crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
Brush romaine, red pepper and onion with olive oil.
