Hairy Hand Halloween Burgers

32

These burgers are sure to be a hit on Halloween or anytime! To give our cheeseburgers a helping hand, instead of rolls, we used strategically cut and decorated rectangles of pizza dough that were baked over pieces of foil.

4
1 pkg. (13.28 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough

1 Tbs. chopped parsley

3 tsp. Italian seasoning, divided

1 tsp. cracked black pepper

40 almond slices

1 lb. ground beef

1 pkg. (.9 oz.) spring vegetable soup mix

1/3 cup chopped red onions

4 slices American cheese
Step 1: Cut dough Heat oven to 400°F. On lightly floured surface, unroll pizza dough; cut into 8 rectangles. Place dough on cookie sheet lightly coated with butter-flavored cooking spray. On each rectangle, cut 4 slits 1½" apart to form fingers. Step 2: Add “hair” Cut four 4" squares of aluminum foil; roll each into log. Place foil logs under 4 dough rectangles, separating fingers. In small mixing bowl, combine chopped parsley, Italian seasoning and cracked black pepper. Sprinkle each hand with parsley-seasoning mixture. Step 3: Press on “nails” Using almond slices, place 1 slice on each finger to form nails. Bake 7 min. or until golden brown. Heat broiler or grill. In bowl, combine ground beef, spring vegetable soup mix, red onions, Italian seasoning and 1/3 cup water until blended. Shape into 4 patties. Broil or grill 10 min. or until temperature reaches 160°F for medium, turning once. Top burgers with American cheese; cook 1 min. or until cheese melts. Arrange lettuce on hand-shaped bread, if desired; add burger and top with bread.
