Hawaiian Vodka Sauerkraut with Pau Maui Vodka

Pau Maui vodka is made from pineapples and made a wonderful addition in this Hawaiian inspired sauerkraut. It is a versatile recipe that can be used in many ways from toppings on reubens and hot dogs, to cooked with some keilbasa. A recipe from Seduction in the Kitchen.

1 16 oz bag of fresh sauerkraut, drained
2-3 spears of fresh pineapple, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup of Pau Maui vodka
1 tablespoon of horseradish mustard
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
Hawaiian Alaea salt, to taste
