Healthier Carrot Cake w/Applesauce & Cream Cheese Frosting

A healthier but still delicious carrot. Unsweetened, natural applesauce is substituted for oil and Splenda artificial sweetener is used in place of sugar. Because the cake is a bit healthier, the cream cheese frosting wasn't modified (figured it could be more decadent if the cake wasn't AS fattening)

2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs (room temperature)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. unsweetened, natural applesauce
1 c. Splenda sweetener substitute
4 c. grated carrots

1 batch cream cheese frosting:
¼ c. unsalted butter (room temperature)
8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. powdered sugar
