Homemade Soft Pretzels with Marinara Dipping Sauce

Bite Sized pretzel nuggets are soft on the inside and golden on the outside!

1 ½ cups warm water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 package active dry yeast
4 ½ cups flour
4 tablespoon butter, melted
10 cups water
2/3 cup baking soda
1 egg yolk lightly beaten with a splash of water

1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Marinara
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic minced
1 14.5 oz can crushed tomato
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon chopped flat leaf parsley
