Hot Chocolate Quinoa

Super simple and super delicious!

1 cup uncooked pre-rinsed quinoa
2 cups cold skim milk
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
Place quinoa in a saucepan and add cold milk. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add more milk if a thinner consistency is desired. Remove cooked quinoa from heat and add chocolate chips and cinnamon. Add brown sugar if desired. Serve immediately.
