Indian easy to make Onion Pancake by Neharika

1/2 recipe wonton wrapper dough
1 cup chopped spring onions whites
1 cup chopped spring onion greens
a pinch of sugar
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
oil for deep-frying
2 tbsp cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water
green garlic sauce

For the filling
Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan over a high flame, add the spring onion whites and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the spring onion greens, sugar and salt and remove from the heat. Cool and keep aside.
How to proceed
Divide the dough in to 6 equal parts and roll out each portions into 125 mm. (5") in diameter circles.
Place a spoonful of the onion mixture in the centre of each circle.
Fold the pancake as shown in the diagram below, sealing the edges with the cornflour paste.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more pancakes.
Deep fry in hot oil till they are golden brown and drain on absorbent paper.
Cut each pancake into 2 and serve hot with the green garlic sauce.
