Kickin Ranch Pretzel Mix

I LOVE pretzels. LOVE. Big soft ones from the fair, little twists or sticks, ground up in a delicious dish - they are good all the time in all of the foods. This is pretzel meets chip meets mouth. With some delicious flavor from ranch pack mix and some heat from cayenne pepper, these pretzels are my latest obsession. And if you’re one of those people who likes to have some chex mix (homemade or otherwise) around for holiday gatherings, you may just have to try something new this year.

1/2 lb pretzel twists
2/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 cup sesame sticks (I used garlic!)
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup roasted, unsalted peanuts
2 packets Ranch mix
2 tbsp ground cayenne pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
