LAMB RIBS, HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE WITH TANGY ROASTED POTATOES

I think moving to a new flat, in a new area is always exciting because you get to go to all new shops. Directly next door to us is an East Indian food shop and they sell lamb ribs. I was immediately curious and needed to try them. While I found them really delicious, they were quite sparce on the meat. We had a rack for dinner and I made these stuffed agnolotti later in the week with the other rack.

2 pounds lambs ribs
1 tbsp whole cumin
1 tbsp whole coriander
1 tbsp whole fennel seeds
1 tbsp whole mustard seeds
1 tbsp turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
1 large onion
1 whole head of garlic
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup pomegranate molasses
3 baking potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
