Low Sugar Maple Greek Yogurt Topped Waffles

Give toppings a spin by using lower sugar options without compromising health and flavor. Options such as fresh fruit, cinnamon and sugar or Xylitol, peanut butter and fresh jam, Greek yogurt mixed with maple syrup then topped with nuts all make a great option.

4 waffles, frozen or homemade
1 tsp. Maple syrup
1/2 cup 0% or 2% Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. pecans or almonds
1 tsp. Maple syrup
1/2 cup 0% or 2% Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. pecans or almonds
Cook waffles as package instructs. In a small bowl combine Maple syrup and Greek yogurt. Stack two waffles then spread half of your mixture on top. Top each plate with 1 Tbsp. of nuts.
