Make Ahead Quiche

This fabulous make ahead quiche goes into the freezer unbaked, then straight from the freezer to the oven, where it bakes up in about an hour.

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup cooked ham, diced
4 eggs
1 cup half and half
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground dry mustard

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
