Mama's Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

If you're looking for a hearty and delicious soup, this Creamy Chicken Noodle soup definitely doesn't disappoint.

4 cups chicken broth
2 cups cooked chicken pieces
2 cups egg noodles
2 cups frozen mixed veggies
1 cup half and half or milk
4 oz. cream cheese
2 cloves fresh garlic
2 Tbsp. corn starch
salt and pepper to taste
Place broth, noodles, veggies, garlic, salt, and pepper into a large pot- simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes, uncovered.

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
