Maple Pumpkin Mac & Cheese

Maple syrup and pumpkin puree turn already delicious baked macaroni and cheese into something really special.

16 ounces Small pasta
1 tbsp salt
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1/2 cup pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix, just plain pumpkin)
3 cups milk
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1/4 cup Sour cream
1 tbsp Mustard powder
2 tsp Red pepper flakes (or to taste)
salt

4 cups shredded cheese
1 cup Panko bread crumps
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Dried parsley
Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot and cook the pasta per package directions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While the pasta is boiling, make a roux. Melt the butter in a pan and stir in the flour....
