Meatballs

These are the meatballs that I grew up eating every Christmas at my Grandma and Grandpa's house. You won't be disappointed with these!

1 cup fine bread crumbs
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup minced onions
1 pound ground beef
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls and fry in a shallow pan. Place in a casserole dish. in the same frying pan (that hasn't been washed yet!) add 1 can of cream o fmushroom soup and about 1/2 can of milk. Mix together over low heat for about 2 minutes. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
