Moist Blueberry Buckle

After looking at several recipes, this is my adaptation of this wonderful cake/bread. It's moist and dense and DELICIOUS!

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 2/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups fresh blueberries

Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, softened
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using butter, generously coat a loaf pan. Combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it in the pan, tilting it from side to side to coat evenly.
