No cream chicken tikka masala

Traditional chicken tikka masala gets lightened by omitting the heavy cream but keeping all the flavor.

2 tablespoons canola oil
1 small onion, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
3 cloves garlic, grated
1 14oz can of crushed tomatoes
4oz fat free yogurt
1/2 cup 1% milk
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric
