Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

I think you will find with this Oatmeal Cookie recipe is that the oatmeal to cookie batter is nicely balanced. I make half of the batch plain and the other half with Craisins. It is the best oatmeal cookie recipe that I think this will become your go-to Oatmeal cookie recipe.

2 ½ sticks of butter
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 cups oats
½ cup Craisins
