One Skillet Bourbon Chicken

I was tired of the same chicken dishes that I seemed to always make, so I varied several together to come up with bourbon chicken version, and now it is our new household favorite! Instead of boiling the sauce separately, I just poured it in the wok with the chicken after it cooked and it helped save my dish time afterword!

2 1/2-3 pounds chicken breasts or thighs, trimmed & cut into 1 inch pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
3 tablespoons ketchup
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup Southern Comfort (or any bourbon)
Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok. Cook the chicken in the oil (I always drain the excess fat that comes out from the chicken) Add the garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes to the chicken and toss around...
