Rich, delicious sticky buns are lightened up in this spin on the classic breakfast treat.

3/4 c. warm milk (110 F)

1 T. + 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

1/4 c. granulated sugar

3 T. butter, softened

3/4 c. mashed very ripe banana (about 1 large)

1 large egg

4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting

1/2 tsp. kosher salt



Filling

1 T. butter, melted

1 egg white from a large egg

1 c. brown sugar

1/4 c. granulated sugar

1 tsp. ground cinnamon



Glaze

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed

3 T. butter

2 T. heavy whipping cream

1 T. corn syrup

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/8 tsp. baking powder
