Orange Cranberry Bread

An easy quick bread that contains no yeast, is perfect for gift-giving, and has great holiday flavor. You'll have a hard time not eating the whole loaf by yourself.

2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup sugar
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup orange juice
½ tsp orange zest
2 tsp butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen), coarsely chopped
½ cup slivered almonds or chopped walnuts
