Orange Soy Chicken Wings are sweet, spicy and salty - a perfect combination!

6 chicken wings
2 Tbs. low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp. agave nectar (can use honey instead)
1 Tbs. mirin/rice wine vinegar
2 tsp. sesame oil
2 Tbs. fresh orange juice
1 tsp. orange zest
1 tsp ginger, grated
1/4 tsp. Sriracha or to taste
1 garlic clove, minced
1 shallot, minced
1 tsp. red miso paste (optional)
1-2 Tbs. sesame seeds (optional)

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
