Orange Sugar Cookies

A tender, orange flavored sugar cookie, perfect for Christmas cookies, other holidays, or just an every day cookie.

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. confectioner\'s sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 t. orange flavored extract, or Orange Emulsion (best choice)
1 t. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 t. salt
fine zest from one orange
