Parmesan Pasta with Baked Chicken

A light pasta served mixed with veggies and topped with juicy baked chicken.

Chicken breasts
Olive oil
Peas
Miced garlic cloves
Sliced mushrooms
Parmesan cheese
Bread crumbs
Egg Whites
Parsly
Pasta
Baked Chicken: Dip chicken breast in egg whites and coat with bread crumbs. Place chicken on foil lined pan in oven at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Pasta and Veggies: Heat olive oil in pan and toss in peas, mushrooms and garlic. Cook pasta according to package directions. Mix cooked pasta and vegetables together. Top with sliced chicken breast. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsly.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
