Halloween is full of candy and sweets, which we all love. However, it’s also nice to have a savory dish that celebrates the season…because we still have to feed our families supper! This Pasta with Creamy Pumpkin Sauce makes a great side dish during the fall months, but it can also be served as a main course with a few additional ingredients. •1 box (about 1 lb.) spaghetti or angel hair pasta
•1 Tablespoon olive oil
•1 small onion, chopped
•3 teaspoons minced garlic
•1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
•¾ cup half-and-half
•½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
•1 cup chicken broth
•½ teaspoon finely minced fresh rosemary
•1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
•¼ teaspoon nutmeg
•Salt and Pepper, to taste
