Peach Scones with Vanilla Glaze

Peach Scones with Vanilla Glaze: soft, tender scones filled with bits of peach and topped with a vanilla glaze. Easy to make and perfect for summer!

Scones:
2 ½ C. all-purpose flour
½ C. white sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
pinch of kosher salt (table salt is fine too)
½ C. (1 stick) butter, cut into slices
1 C. peaches (peeled or unpeeled), diced
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ C. heavy cream
Vanilla Glaze:
1 C. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. Heavy cream + 1 tbsp. Milk
½ tsp. Vanilla extract
