Peanut Butter Chess Pie

A chess pie filled with the flavor of peanut butter! Tastes like the inside of a peanut butter cup!

1 unbaked pie crust (from scratch or from a refrigerated pack of two)
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons cornmeal
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon vanilla

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
